སེམས་ལ་སེམས་མ་མཆིས་ཏེ། ། སེམས་ཀྱི་རང་བཞིན་ནི་འོད་གསལ་བའོ། །
The mind is devoid of mind,
For the nature of mind is clear light.
From the Eight Thousand Verse Prajñāparamitā''
Students are welcome to practice as they wish. The Six Bardos Cycle here is not something you must put aside other practices and teachings for, however if you’d like to reap the fruits of dream yoga and gain conscious navigation of intermediate states, it may be beneficial to be focused on fewer teachings and practices as opposed to many. The teaching cycle here is experiential. We will not just read the text and chant mantras. We will actually employ dream yoga methods and attempt to extend lucidity into hypnagogia, dreams and dreamless sleep. The aim of this cycle is to realize that all states are transitional, empty and are none other than the display of one’s own Mind. The Six Bardos are manifestations of one’s Nature. This fundamental insight is Liberation. What may set this cycle apart from what is generally taught on the Six Bardos is that with navigation of dream and intermediate states it is possible that you may encounter masters, guides and shadow aspects of oneself during this process. These in fact are the Peaceful and Wrathful manifestations of the Bardo and indeed they are and have been appearing to you already.
